Hi, I'm David Goldberg

As a writer with the University of Toronto's Division of University Advancement, I tell the stories that bring the Defy Gravity brand to life. In my current role with Annual & Leadership Giving, I craft donor communications and campaign copy that turn institutional impact into personal connection. It's work built on years as an advancement writer for the Faculty of Arts & Science, telling alumni and donor stories through profiles, impact features and email campaigns. Across both roles, I look for the human detail that makes a story land — and use it to inspire generosity and celebrate achievement.
